Casa Della Pasta, an affordable yet fancy Italian restaurant, is located right next to the busy Zhongxiao Dunghua MRT station in Taipei.
Here you can find a variety of Italian cuisine from pasta to risotto all for under NTD$300. Options of making your dinner a three-course meal are also available for either adding NTD$99 or NTD$139, depending on whether you are in the mood for a salad appetizer or not.
You might expect the restaurant to cut down their budget on decorations because the food is pretty cheap. If so, you will be amazed by the soothing ambiance and the italian style wooden decor when you take your date there for dinner.
I've been here twice and had a great time every time. I personally love pasta with white sauce and I must recommend their salmon pasta w/ white pasta as well as the bacon pasta w/ egg butter sauce. Casa Della serves their customers adequate portion of each serving, so even though you don't make it a combo, you can still be comfortably full.
Remember to call them for reservation before going on weekends to avoid waiting in long lines. They do have a hour and half dining time for each table. In addition to that, Casa Della Pasta usually offers drink specials on every Wednesday for wine & cocktail lovers a even more budgeted meal.
